Advertising
I worked for a few years in advertising agencies entrusted both illustrating and photo-retouching. At the time, the golden age of airbrush illustration was done and the use of computers was just starting. Although I was always so busy the ad campaigns were not stimulating my capabilities, the deadlines were tight and I was always working under pressure. I learnt so much, this is true, but when I quit this world of managers, chiefs, graphic designers and specialized professionals, I realised that illustrators were mere “bricks on the wall”.
